Start Up (Netflix)

Just bingewatched Seasons 1 & 2... excellent series.

Martin Freeman and Ron Pearlman ( 'Hellboy') star in this tale of cryptocurrency start up, bent FBI agents, dodgy parent, double dealing, boyz in the hood and dodgy Russian mafia.

As good as "Breaking Bad" imho ...and just like BB it takes an episode to get going!

I see there is a 3rd series...

Ok. I abandoned it after the first episode, so might give the second episode a chance.

I thought BB opened really strongly with RV in the desert https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O0804OxD5Ao
Start Up, I've not completed the first episode, twice - perhaps I'll revisit when I finish Lost Girl - Amazon Prime. Heart warming tale of the life of a supernatural bisexual succubus named Bo as she learns to control her superhuman abilities, help those in need, and discover the truth about her origins.

Yes, it's those northern working class dramas that are the best.

Not bad, lots of loud noises coming from the women though.

Seems like season 3 is not on (UK) Netflix (it is in the US)
but it is on Prime

Into Season 3 episode 10. Does a good job with getting into all the characters. Overall, a binge watch and one of the best action romps this year. Don’t think it’s as good as breaking bad but not far short either.

I've signed up to Prime so hopefully get a chance to watch season 3. I read that there is a season 4 to follow. :geek:

Just finished Season 3. Very bingeworthy. An unexpected, dramatic ending.
Roll on Season 4!
