The Control Room
You will need to use a catchup service as the last episode of 3 is on tonight
An ambulance call handler takes a frantic call from a woman whom recognises him
He is a decent chap but it all unravels from there
would recommend giving it a go
PS BBC1

Re: The Control Room
A tense and interesting watch...we saw the first episode last night and Mrs RS and I both decided we needed a break before watching episode 2 due to stress levels.

Oh dear - maybe it's the heat that's affected my judgement.
We've got through episode 2 but I can't help thinking what an idiot the main character is and that he deserves everything that's coming to him.

Indeed, and there's a few unbelievable things in it, from Gabe being the only person anywhere who doesn’t have a security lock on his phone to him never looking at the dead obvious ... wait till you see episode 3, lots of plot twists, including really? Only now you look?!?

ahh... please leave Gabe alone
all he did in Episode 1 was his job and he seemed quite good at it
he can't help the dodgy charcacters that seem to surround him

Apparently nobody having locks on their lockers seemed to me a puzzling but necessary requirement in the plot!

People have an opinion, there's no need to insult them for it.

Not sure what you've laughing at, I don't think we should be "easy" about calling out insults for other people's opinions, and I don't know why you want to put those down. Of course it's just a TV show, everybody knows that, but such dramas ask you to suspend disbelief and if that gets too demanding then the plot becomes unbelievable, at least in places. Just because you disagree is no reason to tell people with differing opinions to "get over it snowflakes". Kindly allow other opinions without put downs.

Yes indeed, but the thing that really got me as unbelievable was ....
SPOILER ALERT!
Not only that he never opened the back of the van to look at the dead body as soon as he took it (or at least once he got the van into the garage) ... I mean, honestly, who wouldn't look, and esp. a paramedic! ... but also that the scheme depended on him not opening the van and looking, 'cos if he had the lie would have been blown open right from the start!

Yes! Of course, as time went on, one increasingly became more and more certain there would be no body in the van. And so it proved.
Another puzzle: They kept on showing the rear doors of the van. One couldn't help noticing that, puzzlingly, they seemed to keep changing in appearance!
(Insignia etc)
And that's before we even come to the very puzzling absence of damage to the rear of a van that had been struck hard in the rear by a fast moving car.

Well I didn't notice the rear doors changing in appearance* but the van was actually struck on the drivers side, not the rear. iPlayer, at around 40:38.
Amazing that the cops, out in force looking for the supposed dead body, were letting vehicles out of the area without a "Would you mind just popping open the boot/back please sir"! And even more surprising that, after the crash, he managed to outrun/outfox the cop car that was in hot pursuit just 100 yards behind him.
One thing that was totally new to me and I thought impressive was the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, which has gone onto my "should see" list.
* It appears, according to the twitterati, there were quite a few continuity errors, most of which it seems I also failed to notice!

You're right! Shows how slippery memory is.
Possibly my other rear door memories are just as unreliable?
