The Last Bus

Amazon Prime. Timothy Spall and basically a one man performance. An elderly man, Tom (Timothy Spall), whose wife has just passed away uses only local buses on a nostalgic trip to carry her ashes all the way across the UK to Land's End, where they originally met, using his free bus pass. Unbeknownst to Tom, his journey begins to capture the imagination of the local people that he comes across and, ultimately, becomes a nationwide story.

If you like some nice scenery, buses, are over 60(might appeal to younger but not sure)and an insight to changing times(as if we didn't know) this might be for you. What is ironic for me is T. Spall who really (along with his son,) is an outstanding actor and started off in Auf Wiedersehen Pet(didn't that series produce some famous names?) has really come full circle as in "Goodbye, we will see each other again".

Perhaps I'm just too sentimental for my own good. 6/10
