This is showing on BBC4 at the moment. Released 25 years ago, it's an account of the Arab/Israel conflict from 1948 to 1998. Well worth watching if only for the background behind the present situation. Probably like a lot of people here, I lived through the 70's & 80's but as a teenager I guess most of it washed over me. It was quite an eye opener for me, much more complex than I ever imagined.
