BBC Online News today has prosecutor Richard Wright KC commenting that the workshop of one of the defendants, Daniel Michael Graham, had, in addition to a big chainsaw, photos of him handling owls

Yes, I read that about the owls too and thought I must have missed something. Went back and re-read - nope.

Very odd. Perhaps it's a new law they haven't got round to telling us yet. Actual Owl Handling, Grievous Owl Handling, Aggravated Owl Handling or the lesser offence of Handling Stolen Owls.
