If they're not effected then does that mean they are affected?

We are currently not offering our Order & Collect service for new orders in this store, existing orders are not effected.

Yes, a brilliant example of how the use of 'effect' rather than 'affect' affects the effect of 'effect'.

Re. the 'Order & Collect service', will the service be Catholic or CofE? Matins or Evensong? I think we should be told! ;)

Are we sure this usage is not just an affectation?

No - it merely means that you should pray - with or without rosary - that your order will:
a. not be affected
and
b. will be effected

That is a very good example. Thanks. I used to occasionally teach English as a volunteer and want to continue when my chains are released so am always interested in collecting brilliant ideas like this one.

Steve

PS The Rosary would be totally inappropriate in this case.

Glad to see they have now corrected it. I may go and buy some homebrew gear from them.
