Yesterday I asked in a pertinent FB group for an overnight parking space for Friday night in our campervan just to park and sleep and drive on early the next day, close to a place, X (various resons why not a campsite, but mainly cos we weren't arriving near place X until well after 2200 when campsites are closed)

I pointed out I could use the various websites that contained such suggestions (search for sites.com etc) and was thus after known places that people are aware of that aren't on those sites [1] so no need to point out results from those sites as Im perfectly able to find them on those sites myself..

Guess what?

I got three responses with links to thos esites.

I got a "Have you thought about staying over in <large town not really that close anyway>" - no specifics

I did elicit one PM with the perfect answer that fitted the bill perfectly.
