The Babylonian map of the world is the oldest map of the world, in the world. Written and inscribed on clay in Mesopotamia around 2,900-years-ago.

Ah, Irving Finkel. He showed me how to write my name in Cuneiform.

Is there an interesting story attached to how you crossed paths, and have you ever used that signature anywhere?

Suffice to say I met him, unsurprisingly, at the British Museum.
I have never yet had any practical need to write my name in Cuneiform. It was on a plasticine 'clay' tablet which hardened over the years. Sadly I accidently knocked it off the living room window ledge not that long ago and it broke in two.
