Re: Hogmanay in the Sky
I came across them this summer, I spent part of the lockdown last year building a small summerhouse in the garden, the challenge was to build with materials already to hand and buy no timber (which I managed except window trims, though will need some timber re interior). Sitting one evening with a drink and a book I spotted lights swooping around the Edinburgh sky, pausing, stopping, joining one another etc. On first spotting there was a minute's thought, is this aliens, as some of the light spots had what might be taken to be flying saucer shapes, I read later this was part of the testing programme for the filmed show which my other half thought was to be live so spent time on Hogmanay staring out the windows wondering where it was.
