He's a curious one alright - 30 something years back the shop I worked in sold Heritage guitars (coming out the old Gibson factory in Kalamazoo) and he had a signature model with them.
So I was well surprised to find out he mined the same seam as Ray Stevens - and then surprised again when he released a serious album with Joe Pass.
