The matter never reached a court of law or an arbitration proceeding. In November 2018, Musk, SpaceX and the flight attendant entered into a severance agreement granting the attendant a $250,000 payment in exchange for a promise not to sue over the claims.
The agreement also included restrictive non-disclosure and non-disparagement clauses that bar the attendant from ever discussing the severance payment or disclosing any information of any kind about Musk and his businesses, including SpaceX and Tesla.
Musk is currently engaged in a bid to purchase Twitter driven by his professed belief that "free speech is the bedrock of a functioning democracy." Earlier this month, he wrote on Twitter that "sunlight is the best disinfectant."
I think people are going to enjoy running with this for a while, whether it is true or not.
If only Tesla had a PR department to decline to comment...
So far all I've seen is reports of Musk denying sexual harassment, not the £250,000 kiss off or the NDA, which obviously as a free speech absolutist he would never endorse, and which if they exist could be produced to refute his refutation. Independent of whether or not the sexual harassment happened this makes the claim of the NDA and severance seem more credible*.
*Credible is not a synonym for true.

As far as I understand it and this is just from what I have read, the $250k came from SpaceX, not Tesla.

You'd think that Tesla would want to point out that the claimed severance package and NDA regarding a sexual harassment allegation against their CEO which doesn't appear to be doing their stock price much good was bunkum, assuming it is bunkum, you know operating in the best interests of their shareholders...

Speaking of operating in the best interests of your shareholders:

The Twitter board owes its shareholders every cent it can pull out of the pockets of the world’s richest man after what he has put the company, its investors and its employees through in the past month. It is board members’ fiduciary duty to do so, and Musk has given them every reason to stand strong against him.

Re: Musk endeavours
So Musk has been in Brazil this week, hanging out with hard-right nutjob President Bolsonaro. Bolsonaro has welcomed him as a "legend of freedom", and thinks Musk buying Twitter is a "breath of hope".
Of course, that would have nothing to do with Bolsonaro having tweets removed for promoting hydroxychlorquine for Covid, nor with him being a hardline anti-vaxxer who was banned from YouTube and Facebook for claiming that Covid vaccines made you more likely to get AIDS. Nor with deforestation of the Amazon reaching record levels under Bolsonaro's tenure - he is very concerned about "how much harm those who spread lies about [the Amazon] are doing to us".
At some point you have to judge someone by the company they keep.
At least there's one news outlet we can rely on :
https://www.theonion.com/elon-musk-accu ... 1848955635
For the record, these accusations against me are wildly untrue, and were carried out by my genitals in a coordinated and dirty campaign orchestrated by the Democrats and the radicalized left...[they] used to be genitals of love, but thanks to socialist propaganda spread by antifa, they’ve become weapons of hate

They've got their hands full already :
2017 : https://www.theguardian.com/technology/ ... neer-fired
At the crowded meeting at the Fremont factory, women took the microphone one-by-one and shared stories of sexual harassment, mistreatment by male managers, unfair promotion decisions and more, sources said. Vandermeyden, who attended the meeting, thought the outpouring of comments validated her own story. But soon after, Tesla fired her, accusing her of pursuing a “miscarriage of justice” by filing a lawsuit that alleged “pervasive harassment” and pay discrimination. Testimony from the town hall – along with internal emails from Musk, and Vandermeyden’s first interview since her termination – paint a picture of a company that has struggled to respond to mounting complaints about gender discrimination and has aggressively attempted to discredit a woman who publicly criticized it .
“They just want to absolutely crush anyone who speaks up,” said Vandermeyden
November 2021 : https://www.reuters.com/business/tesla- ... 021-11-19/
Tesla Inc (TSLA.O) subjects female workers to "nightmarish" conditions of rampant sexual harassment at its main factory, and supervisors turn their backs when complaints are brought, according to a new lawsuit.
December 2021 : https://techcrunch.com/2021/12/14/six-m ... arassment/
six more current and former female employees have come forward to accuse Tesla of fostering a culture of rampant sexual harassment at its Fremont factory in California.
And then Musk says (per Business Insider) "If I were inclined to engage in sexual harassment, this is unlikely to be the first time in my entire 30-year career that it comes to light". Well....

Re: Musk endeavours
Tesla Blocked From Shunting Sex Harassment Suit into Arbitration
...Jessica Barraza said in a proposed class-action complaint that she experienced “nightmarish” conditions as a night-shift worker at Tesla, with co-workers and supervisors repeatedly making lewd comments and gestures to her. When she complained to supervisors and human resources, they failed to take action, Barraza said.
Tesla is facing separate suits by at least six other female employees over alleged sexual harassment.
David Lowe, an attorney representing Barraza, told Kaus at a March hearing that the arbitration agreement was unlawful and “unconscionable” under California law.
Tesla sought arbitration only for the allegations Barraza made under California’s employment discrimination laws, and not for her claims under a separate state law pertaining to labor violations.

China must destroy Elon Musk's satellites with ‘hard kill’ weapon, say academics
Researchers from Beijing call Starlink a threat to China's national security...
Researchers from the Beijing Institute of Tracking and Telecommunications Technology called Starlink a threat to China’s national security because of its “huge potential for military applications”.
US researchers have proposed using Starlink as an alternative to GPS, relying on the satellites’ timing signals as an alternative to the decades-old positioning system, long seen as a target for countries seeking to cripple western military technology.
They add that China should “vigorously develop countermeasures” and be prepared to “use a combination of soft kill and hard kill” techniques against the satellite network.

I'm not sure how a 'hard kill' technique would work against thousands of satellites, but I'm sure the Chinese researchers know better than I do.

It’s going to be like trying to kill the Hydra. Hard kill = more & more space junk, then smaller & smaller satellites hiding therein. Who will then win the miniaturisation race?

I would guess that the most effective way to disable starlink in a hot war would be to use electromagnetic pulse: Explode nuclear weapons in the upper atmosphere and create a large electromagnetic pulse (emp) from Compton scattered photons off electrons. This has been demonstrated to be capable of disrupting even primitive grids and would take out most things that have aerials, so all of the receivers if not the satellites themselves. Currently when I wake up I check my iPhone to see if it is still working as if a nuclear war is breaking out the cell phones will be taken out by emp.
Military electronics used to be protected by back to back diodes across the aerials circuit to short out a pulse of either polarity and keep it from breaking the pre-amps etc. Probably they have better technology now.
Going after thousands of satellites with kinetic energy kill weapons is an almost impossible task.
Of course we could all learn to live together, help each other and live happily together rather than send our species back to the neolithic, but alas we don't seem that smart.

Makes one realise how ridiculously ambitious SpaceX's plans are. Already the Falcon 9 is the most launched US rocket if you include all the different versions. But the Starship is something else entirely. The Raptor engines are the only methane fueled engines to fly and have highest chamber pressures of any rocket engine ever made and will soon be made at the rate of one every 24 hours. And that's just a single example of SpaceX's almost preposterous objectives. I look forward, with great enthusiasm, to seeing these behemoths take to the sky (and land again). The greatest show on Earth IMO.

This 5 minute interview of an expert who argues electric cars are a con is hilarious in that every time she opens her mouth some wrong answer comes out.
With stupidity comes opportunity & this gives an example of the wall of people who haven’t yet realised electric cars will replace combustion & thence the size of the market that has yet to open:
