Malaria kills 400k (mostly children) every year.
It has a huge productivity impact in poorer regions such as Africa.

If this pans out, it will be a huge improvement

Thanks, that's interesting, I lived about 2 miles from Lake Victoria (Nyanza) about 35 years ago and everyone there has malaria.

It is not just the human tragedy that it will avert.
It could add several points of GDP growth/yr in what is fast becoming the world's most populous region

When I lived there the population growth was the highest in the world, doubling every 17 years IIRC.
