Further evidence as to why it is time to end the oil economy and move to renewable energy, thereby making many oil resources not viable.

Suppose Turkey made a unilateral decision for lithium exploration in the waters between Greece and Cyprus, to make batteries to store renewable energy. Whould that be evidence that renewable energy is not viable?
