Afternoon all,
Apologies if I’m missing something obvious but what’s going on with HB shares today?
I logged in to my portfolio on my lunch break at work to see Barratt (BDEV) is tanking and appears to be dragging the others down. I have had a cursory google search to find out why but nothing made itself clear to me.

Re: Housebuilder shares today
There was a fire at a block of flats yesterday in Dagenham. It seems cladding is going to be investigated as part of a probe Into the fire, all major house builders have been affected.

Re: Housebuilder shares today
According to The Times this morning:
"At the other end of the index, London’s property developers all fell largely due to a technicality after swap rates, used to price mortgages, rose in tandem with gilt yields after the bank holiday.
Housebuilder Barrat Developments fell by 36¼p, or 6.6 per cent, to 515½p to the bottom of the FTSE 100, closely followed by Berkeley Group which was down by 225p, or 4.3 per cent, to £49.80 and Persimmon whose shares dropped by 73½p, or 4.3 per cent, to £16.32."
