For those not wanting to get involved in cryptocurrency technology, it is possible to buy as an Exchange Traded Note.
Xbt provider sell EURO and SEK denominations on the Nasdaq Nordic in Stockholm.
Hargreaves Lansdown have just released a press release for them and youinvest also offer (but telephone dealing).
The bad news is the fees (2.5% to XBT provider + 0.45% for HL / 0.25% for YI + international trading costs + exchange rate fees.).
The good news is they can be held in a SIPP (but not ISA).
Both HL and YI will require a "Complex Instruments" application.

Buzzz
P.S. the Bitcoin network is capacity constrained at the moment, fees and delays are increasing (and there is all sorts of drama / politics on the discussion boards)- DYOR before investing.
