Zero Dividend Preference Shares.
ZDP shares have been "buy and forget" investments for years, but the prices are starting to crumble, presumably because of fears about the solvency of the underlying companies. For example, JZ Capital Partners (JZCZ) and and UIL Finance 2024 (UTLG) have dropped several percent in recent days, which is very unusual behaviour. I have just sold my remaining ZDPs, and urge holders to review their holdings, and the strength of the underlying companies.
