Holding both Marlborough UK Micro-Cap and Nano-Cap

Postby tgboswell » August 17th, 2021, 3:02 pm

Hello,

In your opinion, is it worth holding both Marlborough UK Micro-Cap & Nano-Cap Growth funds with an even split between them both to spread risk. Does holding both of these funds, offer meaningful diversification or would I be duplicating?

Thank you

There would appear to be very little overlap between the 2 funds. It looks like one finds " Cerillion" and " Impax asset management "holdings in both but at low percentages, circa 1% of each in both funds.

I used Morningstar's X Ray tool with equal allocations to both funds.
