The men's elite race is on the BBC red button today at 1655. The course is by the sea with the section over the beach looking a real slog. The women's race was shown yesterday.

MVdP and WVA are different class - Wout got a little unlucky with puncture timing. Great ride from Tom Pidcock in 4th - big year ahead for him.

These were two really good races on a brutal course. I kept thinking of the damage all that sand would do to the bikes' bearings. Both races are now on the iPlayer. Unfortunately not one of the riders was using a bike manufactured by ...
