Can you give me a guide on where to buy a recumbent online?

Can't see anything that looks remotely like a 'bent at that URL.

I wouldn't buy any bike - let alone a 'bent - without first test-riding it for fit/comfort and handling. But if your experience is sufficient to know exactly what you want, can't google help find it?

As to availability, there are some on eBay, probably even more if one searches on the various mispellngs of ... recumbent.

Ah, yes. I was thinking of a recumbent exercise bike rather than one that someone might use on the roads. Silly me

I was a little concerned - should you fall asleep.

Less of a problem if it's located in your bedroom at the time.

Perhaps wisely, it's not shown being ridden in traffic.

In addition to choosing how to propel it, you also choose two wheels or three.
Only the price of a decent used car.

Indeed, considering that it doesn't have a rigid handlebar. The video shows situations where the left hand is circling vigorously clockwise while the right hand is doing similar in anticlockwise mode. Steering-wise, that leaves me wondering who the hell's minding the bloody shop?

You steer a bike by leaning.

Try car-style steering on two wheels and after a second you're off two wheels and on the ground.

True enough, of course. But what if you haven't got a fixed point to lean against? (As you wouldn't have with those rotating bars.)

I am somewhat concerned not to have seen last year's recumbent cyclists still risking their lives through our twisty country lanes during this recent season. I do hope the chelsea tractor drivers have been keeping their eyes open for low-riding life forms?
