Thursday Murder Club

Just a quick recommendation for this. By Richard Osman, yes, him from that terrible tv quiz show, Pointless. But do not be put off. This is a delightful light read, but with some very poignant and insightful passages. I really enjoyed it.

Thanks for that! I've added my name to the 'wait list' for the ebook through my local library. At #73 in line it will probably take around 5 months! Never mind, have just started Lee Child's latest 'The Sentinel' (written together with his brother) and also have Lark rise to Candleford on the wait list too - a much shorter list.

This was recommended to me by a friend and frankly I thought it was 'pointless' but that would not be very punny. It was a bit like a domestic Marigold Hotel. But then I much prefer non fiction, although I do read fiction of course. Many years ago read Larkrise to Candleford and enjoyed it so I hope you enjoy it 6Tricia.

I very much enjoyed this as well

I think its is written to become a TV series, you can just see the old actors queuing up
