It's been a while since we had any new posts on this board. So here's a set of pics from the BBC news site that I enjoyed, even though the subject (pale, lumpy Brits on holiday) has been thrashed to death. No fancy post-editing (as far as I can see), and no particularly good lighting effects. Just rock-solid composition. (With two or three exceptions, possibly.)

I'm not a talented photographer - rather, I'm spending a lot of my time at the moment on painting. But if I could compose a picture like this guy I'd be pretty happy. ;)

I do a lot of painting as well but it is usually garden fences.

Yes pretty colourful photos those even if the English for some reason don’t seem all that photogenic.
