I quite often peruse old OS maps on this website, but I was most upset to discover today a sign on opening, that the website will be shutting tomorrow. Does anyone know why this is, and how I can find online old maps anywhere else?
I am aware of the National Library of Scotland site, but it is nowhere near so comprehensive.

Take a look here, various options including 1930's OS and historic OS

Thanks for that. I wasn't aware of the site and have just had a look and managed to find a place from 1909 that we've been trying to located for some time...

Sadly, I think the site has just been de-activated.
