I have used this website in the past to get info on RGL (Regional Reit):
https://www.edisongroup.com/equity/regional-reit/
Their latest assessment is relatively upbeat:

If only the market saw it that way.

Always be a bit careful with research paid for by the company. Focus on facts not their opinion.

Re: RGL
Does anybody know why the NAV dropped over 50% on Oct 8th?
The NAV dropped from £5.36 to £2.38 going from Oct 7th to 8th.
I couldn't see any relevant RNS.
AIC states the market cap as £207m + total assets as £771m.

ps, I held their bond until it's maturity, but would I consider their ordinary shares, no, too much risk & past baggage!

Re: RGL
Yesterday I did something that I thought was slightly funny.
My RGL was sitting there in my portfolio showing a -73% loss.
I had a mad idea over the weekend.
Why not simply sell it all and immediately buy it all back?
That way I'd still own it but not have this large negative showing up in the online portfolio + spreadsheet.
So I did. It only cost me £30 to have much healthier looking portfolio.
Should have waited a few minutes more before buying it back as the price dropped momentarily then bounced back - wouldn't have made a big difference.
A little bit of cheating for happiness.

Re: RGL
Dont you need to wait 30 days though.
I think that was £30 wasted unless there was so other work around.
I would have to also record the "trade" at a loss on my spreadsheet so whilst the front page might look good the inside page wont

If CGT is an issue, it doesn't establish a tax loss because of the immediate repurchase. The point would not have been relevant in an ISA or SIPP.
