Index constituents

#299026

Postby swill453 » April 8th, 2020, 4:30 pm

A while ago, before it was revamped to be "responsive", the BBC News finance pages used to show the top risers and fallers in the indices.

eg. You clicked on the FTSE100 and it went to a page showing the top 5 falling and rising constituent shares of the day. Same for FTSE250.

I found this pretty interesting and useful. Does anyone know if this kind of thing is easily available elsewhere?

Scott.

I've had this one in my bookmarks for some time and find it useful -

Thanks. It's useful to illustrate the volatility of individual shares that a relatively small (in these strange days) change in the index hides. (FTSE250 has a +40% and a -14%, just today).

This provides similar. You can click on tabs such as risers, fallers, and performance, giving percentage changes over a number of time periods. also available for ftse-250 and a number of other alternatives.
