Depends if abrdn (yuck) stick to their word and leave II alone to carry on. Somehow, I can't see them resisting the urge to fiddle with the company. Doing nothing here, but will keep an eye on things.

They were Standard Life, an insurance company. They merged/bought the asset company Aberdeen, sold their insurance business. Then they changed their name to adrdn (yuck). Now they are buying an investment platform/broker. Possibly you may not have to put up with the new name for too long. They may get board of managing an investment house and sell that, reducing the number of letters in their name, which is obviously important.
