Re: Blog platform
Possibly because it's too broad a question. I use wordpress (and have done for many years) and would happily recommend it, but I don't think that really answers your question. Though I could add that it's been a smoother ride than blogger over the years, as the latter's new features have sometimes introduced more serious malfunctions.

Re: Blog platform
My mate Jon Stamford uses Blogger. He seems to do well from it. Here is his blog (about early onset Parkinson's): http://sliceoflife-pdblog.blogspot.com/Sunnypad wrote:Hi

PS The title of the latest book he is selling, HEADS OR TALES, was dreamt up by me in a facebook request for ideas (which I won). Got a bottle of Champagne out of it.

Re: Blog platform
Thanks Chris
Interesting that Jon is using Lulu as well. There's a plan behind my blog which involves finishing the book that's 2/3 complete and...there's other stories which might be okay actually.
Glad he gave you a gift for the title. I gave an artist a title for a painting and she doesn't even seem to remember that I'm the one who titled it!
I guess the moral of the story is not to offer suggestions unless there's a bottle of champers on offer.
Then again, I did not expect my original blog to generate any interest, never mind free gifts and invitations. It really surprised me that it took off. That was sheer luck from something I began in order to stave off work boredom.
Maybe now there's an actual plan, it won't work at all!
