A curiosity that doesn't seem to fit anywhere, so it might as well go here.
Some little time ago now, out of the blue I started regularly receiving by post religious pamphlets from "Heather and Gordon". The form of my name on the address suggests this does not originate with a public company share register.
I am not too bothered about the pamphlets, just interested of how they got hold of my name and address and wonder if anyone else here is receiving these pamphlets.

This lot? http://www.truthfortodaybiblecourse.org ... ut_us.html
If I had to guess, I'd say that somebody you know is "pyramid-selling" the faith. They've been given a quota of people who they need to bring into the fold in order to win their spurs and prove their loyalty, and they just thought of you as a way of making up the numbers. A bit like chain letters.
Just bin the circulars, and count your blessings, because things could be worse. I bought a house once where I was pestered by the video pornographers who my predecessor had patronised. I don't know how they got hold of my name, but eventually they started sending me samples on luridly-designed DVDs. When it got to the Bumper Botty Special, I finally objected and the problem stopped.

No. Heather and Gordon appear to be operating as a one man and one woman band, there is no organisation mentioned. But their PO Box can be found online associated with the name of these people (not mentioned by H&G).

So far I am on pamphlet No. 6
P.S.
Oh sorry! So YES, it was the people you originally mentioned. A bit slow there...

Could someone you know have signed you up as a prank?
