80,000 divided by 1.79, or 44,692.737...
(blame it on going stir-crazy in lockdown)

so

Mental block I now realise is not that but thinking I could go straight to what I'm really wanting to do which is to calculate what 0.32 equates to.
Answer: 14,301.68

I presume people were translating in their head that the problem actually was

THEN what does x = ?
Then further, what does 0.32x = ?
