Any ideas what it was up to ? As far as I know only the US operate them - last seen when Obama visited
A quick google suggests there may be a few USAF ones at Mildenhall, but this is Chinook country (I see plenty heading to Odiham)

Probably just practicing. Although the US Marine Corps is the major user, the USAF use them for Combat Search and Rescue. As you say, there are some at Mildenhall.
