Re: Karcher from rain butt??
Here's a 1minute video which shows a pressure washer connected directly to a water butt and it works.

Possible back up solution
If you have electricity ( and you must have to run the KARCHER) then you might need to supply water at a higher pressure to it.
I wonder if this could be used to increase the pressure? ( other pumps available).

Re: Karcher from rain butt??
Picking a random Karcher and getting its instruction manual here https://www.kaercher.com/uk/services/su ... nuals.html it says (for the K4)
Scott.
When used with the KÄRCHER suction hose with check valve (special accessory, order number 2.643-100) this high-pressure cleaner is suitable for sucking up surface water, e.g. from rain barrels or ponds

Re: Karcher from rain butt??
great
many thanks both replies and ideas
I guess I was a little hasty in asking because when I sat down and gave more thought I decided rain butts do collect lots of debris...leaves dont get in but dirt from them must
and I dont want to risk clogging the Karcher with muck
sorry to have wasted your times
many thanks both replies and ideas
