Heated gloves

#424391

Postby 88V8 » July 3rd, 2021, 10:44 am

OH has arfritis creeping in to her hands.
So do I, slightly, but hers more so.

I was thinking to buy her some heated gloves.
The market seems to be bike oriented. A bit cumbersome for day-to-day use.
Some use disposable heat packs, I would prefer batteries.

I could see these becoming a white elephant. Or they could be very comforting.
Any experience?

I suffer from Raynaud syndrome so, triggered by this topic, have just ordered a pair of motorcycle gloves to see if it helps whilst biking¹.

¹I have (currently defective) heated grips but the heat never made it through any gloves worth wearing.

I bought heated gloves from this company a few years ago, a bit expensive (around £100 at the time), but worth it to me.

I was hoping to post a direct link but my old username (oldapple) and login have not worked for me for several months now. If you google 'blaze wear heated gloves' you will find them. (Lighter weight than motorbike gloves).
