Does anyone have recommendations for a cordless vacuum cleaner? Preferably around the £200 mark.

Thank you.

Don't think you can go wrong with a Dyson.

Have a read through a few of the 'HotUKDeals' pages for vacuums, using your browser text-search facility to jump to 'cordless' ones, and you'll hopefully be able to quickly get an idea of what's currently available around that price point, or what might be available at regular offers at least, and you'll also then be able to read some of the cordless-vacuum-specific threads on that site, to get a feel for performance etc., which might be of importance for certain situations like wet/dry, or pet-related cleaning etc...

https://www.hotukdeals.com/tag/vacuum-cleaners

The 'Shark' range often get really good reviews, especially the ones with pet-hair accessories, and I think some of the models have been Which 'Best-Buys' in the recent past, but I think they might be a little over your current price range.

Hopefully something in there to give you some ideas, at least, but if you do come up with a short-list of likely candidates, then taking a look to see if there's user-reviews also available on the Amazon and Argos sites can also help to give some confidence with these types of purchases...

Cheers,

Thank you both for taking the time to reply. I will look at the Dyson and explore the hotukdeals link.

Certainly very happy with my Dyson V10, though costs a bit more £350 I think.

I bought a G-tech which was on offer and came with a hand held vacuum useful for nooks and crannies and accessories which meant it could be used on the stairs. My friend has a Shark which is very good but I found it heavy to use, I have slight arthritis in my wrist and I found the G-tech easier, we also have a dog and 3 cats and the G-tech copes with their hair and fur with no problems.

I can also recommend a GTech hand held rechargable. Comfortable, powerfull, functional & good value.

Rechargeables have a finite life so make sure that whatever you buy, you can replace the battery, easily and reasonably affordably when the time comes.

Battery operated equipment that is designed to be throw away annoys me big time.......don't get me started on Karcher.

I was requested to buy one of these by MrsS and number 1 daughter: Shark Anti Hair Wrap Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner with Flexology and TruePet (Twin Battery).

The thing stands in the larder and is they use it at least twice a day - and seem to empty it often which tells me either we are very mucky  or the cleaner is v.good.
