change.org
change.org seems to have blown a fuse:
"Secure Connection Failed
An error occurred during a connection to http://www.change.org. Peer received a valid certificate, but access was denied.
Error code: SSL_ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED_ALERT
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the web site owners to inform them of this problem."
This has been happening for several days...
...and how do you inform them that there is a problem when you can't access the website (and they don't provide an email address)?

Browser cache

and for IPad

But as it's happening on both devices I don't think that the issue
I take you mean that the home (first) page (ie your link ) won't open

outside possibility... if they are both using the same web proxy then theyll still be getting cached content potentialy form upstream.
does a mobile phone on data have the same issue for you ?

Re: change.org
My crystal ball (aka google) thinks you're probably using Firefox.
When I google SSL_ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED_ALERT, I find several reports of the problem, and solutions, all of them (as far as I looked) from Firefox users. I won't try to repeat solutions here, 'cos if I do, the context and detail I miss is sure to prove crucial ...

Re: change.org
OK, I think the problem must be with Three who provide my broadband using a 4G Router.
It seems that they can't or won't sort this out via email or online chat, so another (long) phone call is needed.

Re: change.org
The OP's link is to http://www.change.org/ which *should* (and does for me) redirect to https://www.change.org/
Does the 'correct' (i.e. https: ) link work for the OP?

That's an SSL error. It's coming from after the redirect has been followed.

Heh. That was my original thought. Well, not specifically Three, but some nonsense on an ISP's proxy.
Until I googled, and what I found led me to suppose it was associated with firefox rather than a proxy!

Re: change.org
OK, on the Firefox page which I copied, change.org appeared as:
www.change.org
and copying the content of that page wrongly showed:
http://www.change.org
I have had another go at Three, and I'm hoping that they will manage to correct this mistake!

Both those links work just fine. I don't suppose therefore they need to correct anything! C.newlyretired wrote:OK, on the Firefox page which I copied, change.org appeared as:

Not quite. They redirect, which is a Bad Thing (and in some circumstances can be very bad indeed).
But I don't see them on the page itself.

Re: change.org
I'm clearly misunderstanding something here. The change.org link, when clicked, takes you to change.org so I don't quite understand where the redirection is? C.UncleEbenezer wrote:csearle wrote:Both those links work just fine.
