Hi Folks,
I've had the Adblock removal window comw up here on LF. Followed the instructions, now the Adblock icon in toolbar is greyed out when on the LF. But I still get the reminder every two or three LF posts I look at.
Help,
Ray.

First thing I would try is to log out of LF, back in, and see if that fixes it.
Second thing: restart the device.

Hi Watis,
Tried both those, it's still there.

If you really want to get round the pop ups then you might wish to try "Brave" as a browser.

I'm getting the pop-up too, every single time I click onto a page. I've tried whitelisting TLF on my Kaspersky antivirus, which comes with a banner blocker built in, but it's the same result even if I turn the whole facility off.
Or, to be more precise, I get a sequence of events. The pop-ups will continue for about a week, and then I get three or four days of ads, and then the warnings stop altogether for a couple of days. Then I'm back to getting the pop-ups again.
I try to look on the bright side. Anything that makes me a bit less likely to sit chatting and arguing for hours on end has got to be a good thing.

I'm getting similar but I have two different random pop-ups, every dozen or two mouse clicks.
One says something like "Please disable your AdBlock" (which I did weeks ago, and my icon is green and shows a thumbs-up), and the other requests permission to use my data to serve me targeted ads (or something along those lines). I sometimes click on agree but I never get any ads.
I always either agree or just shut either pop-up box. Neither action makes them go away permanently but they are not so frequent as to be more than a mild irritation.
This is with Chrome on a Mac running Monteray.

Is that wise?
Didn't Brave blot its copy book recently? ISTR looking into using it and decided it was probably best not to install it. I forget the reason.
