Both BT and VOD appear to have serious management problems.
BT have recently credited me with over £1000 for NOT having a broadband connection, and VOD seem to spend their time inventing unexpected charges which piss off customers and eventually leads to their departure.
With competent management they might both be great investments.

I have a vodafone sim card for UK, another for Italy. Also in the past for Malta and even for Tanzania (Vodacom), though the latter only for 3 weeks. The Maltese subsidiary was sold to a company in Monaco a few years ago and is now called 'Epic'.
I can assure you that Vodafone has the same reputation of dishonesty and questionable practices everywhere! Vodafone in Italy spends a fortune on advertising to draw people in, then mysterious charges appear and increase every year. Maybe they learned this from Sky, who does pretty much the same.
Steve
PS In Malta the best providers are Melita and Go. My Maltese sim card is with Go and the difference between them and Vodafone is like a nunnery and the Kray twins!
