I have not read the Economist's comments on the BH AGM as it is behind a paywall as far as I can see but they do not seem too happy with it at present. As I have said above, I expect it will be broken up one way or another. I made a good deal from GEC after Weinstock was gone. In fact I only bought into it then. Sold most of it before it imploded. I think the difference is that BH appears to have ready made management waiting in the wings, presumably with the same mindset as Buffett.

Maybe take note of what WB said years ago: when I die, that's the time to buy more shares in BH.

I think they have been well prepared for a long time.
