Bovis Homes Group has announced additional information following a further company announcement.
The company has released details regarding a Name Change following the completion of the integration with Galliford Try. Bovis Homes Group has agreed to change its Name within six months from completion to a name to be decided by employees.
Furthermore, shareholders on the register as at 2 January 2020 will receive 0.03819 new ordinary shares for each share held.

What the RNS says about how the name will be chosen is "It is intended that the new corporate name will be decided by the employees of the Enlarged Group by way of a competition, to be organised prior to Completion." That strikes me as quite likely to be rather disingenuous. The winner of a competition is often decided by the judges of the competition and not by votes of the competitors, and they could actually comply with the letter of what they've said by choosing the judges to be just a few senior employees who can be trusted not to declare Housy McHouseFace or anything similar the winner. Senior managers with reasonable hopes of being appointed as directors would be excellent candidates to be judges, for instance...
