When do you think we will begin to see soaps filmed with s.d choreography?

I hear that Neighbours started filming on May 7th.

Following the excellent advice offered by readers of this post, I have found an article on the BBC which explains the guidance given to soap producers.

The British soaps will re-start filming in June and the youthful Ken Roache (88) says that older members of casts will not be returning for health reasons.

There will be diy makeup and fewer stunt scenes so it should be interesting. There is no mention of how they will handle the usual excessive cross pollination between characters in the bedroom department.

David Archer of the Radio 4 Archers will kick off the new style show next Monday at 7pm.

Planned scripts have been binned to make way for the new S. D format.

But how do we know they are adhering to it whilst acting is in progress?

The BBC reports how Eastenders will film intimate scenes.

They will draft in the actors’ real life partners, suitably disguised so that the scenes will be real! How clever. Let,s hope they don,t get carried away on screen!

Meanwhile, the Archers had a stint of actors’ monologues recorded in their own homes which was mostly considered rather boring and that will now be dropped.
