I went fishing down at the sea this morning"
"Catch anything?"
"Aye, oi caught a whale"
"A whale, what did you do with it"
"Oi threw it back in"
"What did you do that for?"
"Most of the spokes were broken".

Not sure what dialect it's supposed to be , but reminded me of the Aynuk and Ayli(Enoch and Eli) jokes based around the West Midlands/Black Country accent.

Could it be Brummie?

My Brummie friend invited me to a talk all about spice. I really like spicy food, so was looking forward to it.

Two hours of boring talk about stars and the big bang!

Or Noddy Holder's phrase of a Kipotie
(drag it out)

meaning either a Kipper tie
or a Cup of tea

I got invited to a spice party in Birmingham last week.

I went as sporty spice, everyone else was dressed as an astronaut,
