Hi Folks,
Had my first one today. "GOV-UK to apply for your £400 energy discount please click the link..."
I don't think so!
It got me wondering if scammers have a preference for email or phone scams. Which is more efficient to do, which is more productive? I get things like ' you've won a iPhone 14, a Phillips Air Dryer, would you like a Russian wife' (what? - could that be Putin's cannon fodder wanting to live).
Phone scams seem to be the quick 'parcel waiting for delivery and this £400 energy discount'
Obviously it's a quite morning here,
Ray.

I don't need my £400 discount as I have several million dollars coming my way as soon as I pay the release fee ![Surprised :o](./images/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif)

Hi Folks,
I did mean quiet dammit! Distracted by the fact I was anticipating the decorators starting today (Tuesday) and it was my last morning for a few days of peace. I know work has to be done but I hate the thought of having workmen in the house. It's alright when they get here, it's just the thought of it.
Am I getting old or has that train gone?

Me too!
I've just had an email to confirm I've won US$1.5 million in the Qatar FIFA World Cup 2022 lottery. In case I can't comprehend what that means, they have explained exactly how much I'll get thus: "US$1,500,000.00 Dollars, (One Million Five Hundred Thousand United States Dollars)"
One in the eye for those who say 'you have to be in it to win it'!
