HYPTUS seems to be pulling through some odd forecast yields today - presumably it's an issues with Sharecast?

Yes, Sharecast does seem to have quite a few problems today. Not a lot that HYPTUSS can do about it, apart from hope that Sharecast gets its act together

Does anyone have an alternative source of forecast yields pending Sharecast sorting itself out?

The only other free source of forecast yields that I am aware of is Market Screener. Here's a link for the Astrazeneca data: https://www.marketscreener.com/quote/st ... C-4000930/
Edit... you might prefer this webpage: https://www.marketscreener.com/quote/st ... inancials/
Further edit!! The Sharecast yield data for the FTSE350 at the end of November is available in the StepOne FTSE350 spreadsheet at http://lemonfoolfinancialsoftware.weebl ... se350.html See columns AH and AI
In idle moments, I've been looking at how this might be added as an option to HYPTUSS. It's not easy, don't hold your breath!

Re: HYPTUS
A similar issue?
I noticed that the ADVFN dividend amounts seem to have stuck at payments up to the end of November. Initially I thought this was an HYPTUS issue, but looking on the ADVFN site itself for a few of my shares, it seems that their dividend payment data is well behind date. Unilever and BP for example.
I find Sharecast dividend data is too flakey and Dividenddata unfortunately doesn't seem to like my IP.

I think ADVFN often updates the data after the payment date, though sometimes before. BP payment is 16Dec22 and ULVR is 09Dec22.
Dividend Data does get upset if you make too many queries in too short a time, and blocks your IP. You can remove the block by resetting your router, which generally gives you a new IP address.

Maybe unrelated, but I wonder if some problem was on the way on Friday, which was the last time I ran HYPTUSS. I noticed my total income forecast was over 6% down one the previous run a week before, putting the forecast lower than any time since March 2022.
I did not see any outlandish yields, but it just seemed odd that my income should have dropped so much. Awkward, since about now I usually do mine income forecast for the next year and set my drawdown amount.
Today is much worse, and to the list I would add that HLN always has returned n/a and SDR always returns ????

I think HLN is too new for any data to yet appear in Sharecast, Arb.
SDR is fine for me. It correctly returns a forecast yield of 4.7%. Do you have out-of-date data in your Company Data Sheet? Column A of the data sheet should be

My guess when I saw this was that there was a Pounds vs Pennies issue somewhere, e.g. yields of 4.99% and lower were being calculated as 0.0499% and then rounded down to 0.00% with those over 5.00% (0.05%) being rounded up to 0.10%.
Where/who is at fault I know not.

Re: HYPTUS
Seems to be taking ShareCast a while to sort themselves out. HYPTUSS mostly seems to be pulling through Latest Yields and Forecast Yields are still all over the place.

When you refer to dividend data, I assume you actually mean Latest/Forecast Yields on the main HYP sheet, and not the actual dividends on the Dividend sheet?
If the former, it's a Sharecast problem (again ) and there's nothing we can do about it, apart from hope they get their act together.
Here's the Sharecast FTSE100: https://www.sharecast.com/index/FTSE_100
Scroll down and click on the NATWEST GROUP link, and it does not take you to the Natwest page, it just shows a list of shares starting with A.

Just noticed that the PE ratios scraped from Sharecast are mostly being returned as zeros - or is it just me?

Not you or HYPTUSS..... it's Sharecast. Perhaps they are fed up messing up forecast yields, so decided to have a go at forecast PE

The forecast yields on my HYPTUS v11.72 are not updating this week. Error message: Run-time error '-2147012879 (80072ef1)':
I know this is an older version but I have had so little trouble with it and I have other information on the worksheets.
I am on Windows 10.
Any help would be much appreciated.

11.72 is working for me with a random selection of 5 shares, so I suspect you have a problem with a specific share. Can you post the list of tickers, or at least the ones around where the problem occurs?

Re: HYPTUS
The update does not get going at all. The first share in the list is AZN which seems to be the same share that AJC5001 is having a problem with.
The run-time error appears immediately I click on 'Get Sharecast Forecast Yields'.
Thank you for your response.

I just checked 11.81 with NWG and AZN.
It reported yield of ???? for NWG and then I got the error message for AZN.
I swapped them around and got ???? for AZN and the error message for NWG
I then tried a sequence of SSE, AZN, PHP and NWG. SSE was OK, AZN was ????, PHP was OK and NWG produced the error message.
The fundamental problem is Sharecast, it really is rubbish these days. The ???? result is due to Sharecast having no data. If you list the FTSE100 on Sharecast, then click on the link for NWG, it just goes to a page listing all shares starting with A. Astrazeneca is not even listed in the FTSE100!
Nothing I can do about Sharecast unfortunately (apart from hurl abuse at them ) but HYPTUSS should fail rather more gracefully so I'll have a look at that.
