Re: Wine offers?
I see Sainsburys, Asda and Tesco have their 25% off 6 or more bottles of wine offer running again.
19 Crimes The Banished isn't included this time around, which is a shame (from my viewpoint, at least!). I was wondering if any fellow Lemons would recommend an alternative that was on offer?
Cheers (hic!)

I recently tried Tesco's Finest Barossa Shiraz and enjoyed it, it might fit the bill.

I've tried most of the 19 Crimes range they are a blend of Shiraz/Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache. Anything that is Australian and Shiraz or Cab Sauv based should be a reasonable substitute.
I can't tell much difference between the ordinary 19 crimes, the banished or the uprising. I go for the basic one. It's very drinkable but doesn't have much complexity.

Re: Wine offers?
Asda have their 25% off six bottles offer on again (19th March - 5th April) in-store and on-line.
They also have a £2 off rollback promotion on two that I particularly like: 19 Crimes - The Banished, and Diablo Dark Red, reducing both from £10 to a much more acceptable £6 as both offers are applied.
Sainsbury's, Tesco and Waitrose are all predicted to launch their own 25% off offers in time to stock up for Easter.

Thanks!
I've been shopping at Sainsburys again, since taking the plunge to online and finding them to be the only ones to offer delivery slots within a reasonable time[1]. Accompanied by giving up shopping in person at Tesco since they started inflicting muzak in our local (mid-size) supermarket. Delivery makes ever more sense as I get older for something heavy like a wine order!
[1] Tesco, nothing at all within three weeks. Asda something over one week. Morrisons irrelevant 'cos their whole website was too dysfunctional: nearly every item I tried to select flagged up as out of stock! And Waitrose is a very long way to come (the nearest isn't even in the county), as well as being IME poor food at high prices.
Re: Wine offers?
Tesco 25% off wine offer valid for delivery/collection from 23/03/2021 until 06/04/2021. I expect it's in-store as well.

Wasn't familiar with 19 crimes, but I bought a bottle in stocking up a couple of days ago. I think it's a bit too in-your-face to become a favourite, but having opened it with my meal this evening I'm certainly enjoying it - thanks for the suggestion.
Kind-of takes me back to when I first encountered Aussie wine 30-ish years ago. I travelled to Oz and NZ on Qantas, and was most pleasantly surprised that the wine on board was not merely free but also nice!

Bought an Uprising on offer a while back and liked it, then bought the 'normal' one by mistake. Not as impressed, but the Uprising was on offer in Morissons a couple of weeks ago so picked a couple more up.
Not seen Banished anywhere - who stocks that?

Try Asda.
(Normally £10, but currently £2 off with rollback and 25% off 6 or more (can be mixed) so £6 a bottle.)

That's why it probably wouldn't've gone in my basket but for the comments here.
A few years ago I liked a quirky name. Then I ended up with something (either "Old Git" or "Old Fart" - I forget) that turned out to be one of the foulest wines I've encountered this century, and stopped picking them up.

Popped to Asda last night - got a couple of Banished.
Also a few others, Villa Maria SB was 6 quid a bottle with the 25% off, so many thanks for the heads up.

Re: Wine offers?
One of our random picks from Asda was a Masso Antico Primitivo.
Opened it last night and it was excellent - full bodied with loads of red fruit, smooth, great with a pizza.
I'd happily pay the full £8 for this one next time I'm there.

I wouldn't. In normal circumstances I consider it a failure of planning if I have to buy any bottle at full price. Stock up while the offers are on!
(This time round I've added twelve bottles net to my wine rack. Ordered 15 altogether, 2 were unavailable, one has gone as a gift. Should last me 'til the next offer).
