It is usual to make sure you have Public Liability Insurance if there is any danger of any sort to members of the public. Falling branches, hidden pits, that kind of thing. Notices, disclaimers, armed drones, nothing is guaranteed to totally absolve you of liability is anyone gets onto it and gets hurt.

My garden backs onto woodland. We have lived here 28 years and we know who the owners are. In all that time the owners/ their agents have only visited once about 10 years ago when they thinned out the trees and tidied up. There is no road access so flytipping is minimal. It's just left to get on with what woodland does naturally and it's a great bonus for any neighbouring properties who happen to have a woodburner.
