Quite a lot of these about, although they do tend to get removed from the top of the Google hits, eventually. Skip hire comapnies that basically charge a premium rate to pass your details to a bunch of local firms, similar for solar, boilers,etc. If the number starts with 09 then ignore it, 08 then check it as some look free but aren't (used to be a website called saynoto0870 )

Also Official looking websites for free stuff like Bus Passes and EHIC cards that passed your details on for a £20 fee (and you've given them your payment details).

Rather like th fake QR codes appearing on parking payment signs and in pubs, the reliance is on people who are overconfident in their technology and simply take the easy route.
