Greetings one and all. It's been a traumatic weekend, what with one thing and another, so I think a treble Highland Park is required please landlord.

It's great to see so many familiar names, and C&S have done a brilliant job in setting up such a welcoming `refugee centre' at such short notice - they're truly the Angela Merkels of TMF!

Incidentally, what's the etiquette on smilies? They were never around at TMF, but I can now see a whole host of them outside peering through the Snug windows, are they to be kept at bay?

Hope it wasn't too traumatic.

As for smilies, well I used to do them the old fashioned way, when appropriate
I think that the non animated ones are fine and help to indicate when a comment is less than serious.

I like courgettes (I usually buy 3 a week, organic). Also, they've been picked the night before or possibly early morning same day before so taste like courgettes should.

Only trouble is it's the wife's. She doesn't actually drink beer much at all, but has a thing where she hoards a few super-stars in the fridge for months, before finally having one perhaps when friends visit. Meanwhile everyday as a hop-head I open the fridge and they stand there, perfectly settled and chilled taunting me This gets worse when she's off travelling and I open the fridge and have a 'would she actually notice?' moment*...

* Prior experience has taught me, yes she will lol!
