I have about £1000 in SEMS with iWeb in an ISA. They have stopped dealing SEMS, without telling me until it was already zombified.
Apparently I can transfer it out, but that means I have to find a platform that accepts a partial ISA stock transfer in, and which does still deal in SEMS (or whatever has replaced it - possibly IEMS?).
If anyone else has SEMS, I'd be really grateful to know if/how it's been re-coded, which platform you have it with, and whether you are still able to buy and sell it.
Many thanks from a newbie!

Hi rzys - I have ISEMS with HL if that helps? There haven’t been any messages re restrictions on trading as far as I’m aware.
Cheers, OLTB.

I also have IEMS with HL. The ticker used to be SEMS, but has now changed. No restrictions on trading that I am aware of.
Re: SEMS (now IEMS?) - which platforms still deal in it?
Thanks both. I only shifted my ISA out of HL about a year ago, annoyingly!

You get low dealing fees and no ongoing fees with iWeb, but the payback seems to be silly annoyances such as this. I hold 2 securities in my iWeb ISA that they no longer allow me to trade and they never even bothered to inform me. I can still sell but have to do so over the phone. Thankfully they don't charge more for phone deals.

I had this but Halifax Sharedealing would not let me trade any more in it as US domiciled. Persuaded them to let me sell it commission-free as there had been no advance warning of restrictions.
Anyway, does anyone know a UK/Irish domiciled alternative to get exposure to Small Caps in either Asia Pacific or Emerging Markets that is distributing (not accumulating). All the relevant Investment Trusts have relatively high TER%. Thanks, BasketCase

Thank you Alaric - seems I may have mistakenly bought the US domiciled version originally when I should have had this one.
