Obviously they have decided to upgrade their methods. For too long they have been basing them on 2000 AD issues. :D

Ps 2000 AD was most famous for the Judge Dredd series.

The more I look back at stuff from that era the more I suspect it's been taken as inspiration rather than satire :(

I was really saddened to hear of the passing of Kevin O'Neill (at 69) a couple of weeks back - so I'm reworking my way through Nemesis the Warlock in tribute

State stands down for now.
San Francisco has reversed its decision to authorise police to use robots equipped with lethal weapons.

Of course there's an action group against it.
With growing digital dehumanisation, the Stop Killer Robots coalition works to ensure human control in the use of force.

As a teen I loved his stuff (and still do) - perhaps this might be of interest to his fans? https://2000ad.com/news/pre-order-the-2000-ad-art-of-kevin-oneill-apex-edition/
